The fans cheer for the sight of Izaz, as he polishes the Las Vegas Championship gold that is hanging off of his shoulder.

Katie Smith: “Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Sunday Night Showdown! I am joined here by the reigning Las Vegas Champion, Jacob Izaz!”

There is a big cheer from the fans for Izaz, who nods to the camera.

Katie Smith: “Tonight you take on another Champion in Dallas Jordan, current holder of the sVo TapOut Championship. Now we understand that you asked for this match, can you tell us why?”

Izaz smiles as he looks down at his gold, and then back to the pretty red head interviewer.

Jacob Izaz: “Simple Katie, gold! I already hold the Las Vegas Championship, a belt I was chasing for months here in the sVo, but it’s not enough for your man! No, I want to add some more gold to my collection. I want that TapOut Championship and what better way to get a shot than by beating the Champion?”

There are loud cheers from the fans.

Katie Smith: “So the plan is defeat Jordan tonight and challenge for the belt at the PPV?”

Jacob Izaz: “Got it in one Katie, that’s why they pay you the big bucks!”

Izaz winks to Katie Smith before walking away from the interview area.

Here to Collect

The cameras head backstage to the office of sVo Boss Jon Page, where the man in charge is watching the celebrations for yet another victory for Hiro Ryuu on his giant TV screen. Suddenly there is a knock at the door, but before Page even has the chance to answer it bursts open and in walk William Vorheez, flanked by the giant Black Brothers!

Page slowly rises up to his feet sensing trouble, drawing a smirk from the former sVo Champion.

William Vorheez: “Relax, relax Page. We are not here to kick your ass….. this time anyway.”

Page slowly sits back down, looking wearily at Vorheez and the Black Brothers.

William Vorheez: “No I am here to collect, collect my sVo Championship shot that is…. I assume that it is coming to me considering I beat the Champion last time out?”

Page takes a minute to ponder, before looking at the three giants in front of him and slowly nodding his head.

Jon Page: “That’s right, Countdown to Violence 2023, you will indeed be in the main event challenging for the sVo Championship…..”

Vorheez claps his hands together before Page even has the chance to finish the sentence.

William Vorheez: “See, that was easy wasn’t it! Now let’s get going boys!”

Righting a Wrong

We head backstage to the office of Jon Page once again, but the boss is not alone, as standing in front of him is sVo legend ‘Beautiful’ Bobby Dean! The fans pop for the sight of Dean, who despite not being booked for a match tonight is wearing his baby blue robe and trunks.

Jon Page: “I got to ask Dean, what’s with the get up? You wear this even on your days off?”

Dean looks down at his stomach overlapping his trunks and shrugs, not really understanding the question.

Jon Page: “Anyway…. What can I do you for?”

Dean coughs, before setting into his prepared speech.

Bobby Dean: “Well boss, I just wanted to point out my record since coming back to the sVo, every single match a win apart from that one blotch on the record at the PPV….. What I want you to do is give me a chance to make that record perfect again, give me a shot at the Championship at the PPV, let me have a chance at winning that one belt I haven’t won yet…..”

Page holds a hand up to stop Dean before he can go any further, as a smile spreads over his face.

Jon Page: “Say no more Bobby, you are in, you will be involved in the sVo Championship match at the PPV….”

Before Page can finish his sentence, Dean punches the air in celebration before strutting out of the office as the cameras head back to ringside.

Family Trouble

The cameras head backstage to the locker room of Blood Money, who have been watching the HOTv Tag Team Championship match.

Anthony Moretti: “Can you believe that? The sVo gets a shot for the HOTv Tag Team Championships and Page throws those two chumps into the match? He doesn’t pick the sVo Tag Team Champions for the opportunity? Madone!”

Joe Barone also shakes his head in disbelief, as Johnny Moretti and Junior Gambino sit silently.

Anthony Moretti: “Right guys, I don’t know what went on between you last time, but let’s cut it out. Let’s get this family back on the same page tonight! Let’s focus on taking out Big Aug and Big Trouble once and for all!”

Johnny Moretti and Junior Gambino continue to sit in a frosty silence, as Joe Barone shrugs his shoulders leaving Anthony Moretti to sigh and shake his head as the scene fades out.

Jon Page: “I know what you are about to say Night…..”

Night looks confused as he looks down at Page who is still sitting behind his desk.

Night: “You do?”

Jon Page: “Yes I do. You want in the sVo Championship match at the PPV. You feel you deserve a shot because you have won every match since coming back to the sVo and you defeated Vorheez at the last PPV which should put you in contention to be #1 contender….”

Night shrugs his shoulders.

Night: “Yeah that pretty much covers it.”

Jon Page: “Say no more, you are already in! Fatal four way at Countdown to Violence, has a pretty nice ring to it!”

The camera fades out as it zooms in on Night slowly nodding his head.
