Showdown #116 Preview

After last night’s Uprising event, all eyes have turned to next Sunday and sVo Showdown episode 116!

The main event of the night is set to see Cody Williams throw down an open challenge to the sVo roster for the sVo Championship! Who will step up to take on the ‘Hollywood Rockstar’, and will Williams be able to retain ahead of planned defences against Scott Washington on Uprising #5 and Johnny All-Star at Seasons Beatings 2021?

Two weeks ago Curtis Knight made his first official appearance in an sVo ring, as he scored a dominant victory over James Von Drake of Blood Money. With Knight gunning for Blood Money leader Moretti, this week he has to go up against another one of the group’s henchmen as he takes on current Las Vegas Champion Money Malone in singles action!

Two of the hottest young talents in the sVo as set to face off as Kyle McRae looks to bounce back from his narrow loss in his sVo Championship match against Cody Williams by taking on Kenneth D Williams, one of the two men that will fight for the Las Vegas Championship at Seasons Beatings! Will Williams pick up a big victory to build momentum ahead of his title shot, or can McRae score the win and work himself into title contention as well?

Blood Money is in action once again, as JVD looks to bounce back from his defeat against Curtis Knight by teaming up with Lucy Von Drake to take on the father/son team of Gunner Lang and Flip Dixon. With the Von Drake’s undefeated in Tag Team action, can they keep the winning streak going or will Gunner & Flip score the win as they try and get some revenge on Blood Money?

So far Alissia Young has been in dominating form in singles action, winning all three of her matches so far, including twice against fan favourite Jupiter James! This week on Showdown Young faces Ida Guildress one on one. Can the Canadian keep the run going and can Ida Guildress escape with her arm intact?

The man that currently tops the sVo rankings is none other than the former two time sVo Champion William Vorheez. With Vorheez having recently taking more of a mentor role to the massive ‘Black Brothers’, this week he steps back into the ring to renew his rivalry with the super heavyweight Yoshi Ono! Can Ono bounce back from his defeat on Uprising #4 or will Vorheez pick up another victory to keep his name at the top of the rankings?

For all this and much more, make sure to tune into sVo Showdown episode 116, only on sVoLasVegas.com!
